Preserving and making educational heritage accessible

The Digital Museum of Learning is committed to bringing cultural heritage to teachers and children in a digital format. This includes using photogrammetry, a technique that allows us to create precise 3D models of artifacts based on photographs. For our inaugural exhibition, we produced two such 3D models and documented the process in two guidelines for our partners.

What a night! At this year’s Long Night of Zurich’s Museums, the Johann Jacobs Museum opened its doors to over 600 explorers with an interactive exhibition celebrating fabrics, diversity, and the many facets of our identity.

Between June 12 and 15, the Johann Jacobs Museum in Zurich and the Digital Museum of Learning welcomed school classes and families on an adventure through the history of environmental education.

The start of a journey

We are thrilled to announce that the Digital Museum of Learning has won gold in the category Education at the British Interactive Media Association Awards (BIMA). 

The team from Athlon, Daniela Lozza and Adrian Cockle received the BIMA Award in Education during the award ceremony in London on 21 November 2023.
